Greg Melick SC

Greg Melick S.C., Major General, is a Barrister with chambers in Hobart and Sydney, specializing in Criminal, Administrative, Appellate, and Electronic Commerce advocacy.  He is serving as Deputy President of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal of Tasmania.  He is also Chief Commissioner ( part time) of the Tasmanian Integrity Commission. He is Cricket Australia's Special Investigator (part time) appointed to deal with alleged corruption and match fixing.  He is formerly statutory Member of the National Crime Authority; Partner in a Hobart law firm, and Crown Prosecutor/Principal Crown Counsel in the Tasmanian Crown Law Office.   He obtained his BA and LLB from the University of Sydney. He was admitted to practice in New South Wales in 1975, in Tasmania in 1981, in Victoria in 1993, in South Australia in 1996, Northern Territory in 2000.
